"I used to hide my mouth or talk sideways or didn’t talk at all. I used to hide from being photographed, but now I’m not afraid to have my picture taken. I never smiled, and now I smile all the time. Marilyn was unhappy with the spaces between her teeth. She considered orthodontics, but did not want to have braces for the two years it would require to correct her spaces. She came to our office near Salt Lake City, Utah, and we placed Empress porcelain veneers on her 8 front teeth. By paying close attention to size and proportion, as well as some changes to her gums with a laser, we were able to create the illusion that her teeth had been moved. What a difference it made in her smile!
